As a publicly owned utility, we feel it is of utmost importance to keep our customers informed of the latest industry news as well as what is happening locally.  As well, citizens can view utility board meetings via a live feed from our "View Meetings Online" link.  Meeting agendas, minutes and weekly updates are also posted on this web site on the Public Info pages.

Trustee Meetings

The IMU Board of Trustees meet the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. 

Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers located in the basement of City Hall at 110 North 1st Street. 

Citizens may enter the building on the north side, through the door at the top of the concrete ramp.  Meetings are open to the public and we encourage anyone to attend.

I-Magazine

The I-Magazine is a quarterly publication that provides information on current programs, events and projects. 

The magazine is co-published by IMU and the City of Indianola and is mailed to every billing address inside the city limits. 

Also included is contact information for public officials and council, board and standing committee meeting times and locations.

IMU Admin Office

The IMU General Manager and Staff have an "open door" policy and invite citizens to stop in and visit about utility topics.

The IMU Administrative Office is located at 111 South Buxton Street.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 4:30.  The office is closed on weekends and major holidays.
