This option allows customers to pay the average of annual utility costs on a monthly basis rather than the actual billed amount. Paying the average costs allows you to know (and budget for) the exact payment amount. Customers considering this billing option should keep in mind that the average costs are recalculated annually and if usage increases, the average monthly costs increase accordingly. Customers must sign up for this option in person at City Hall.
Billings for municipal utility services may be set up for automatic payment through a checking or savings account. Payments are deducted on the 20th of each month. If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be deducted the business day prior to the 20th. An authorization form is required and can be completed at City Hall.
On-Line Bill Payments - Available 24-hours:
Customers have the option of paying their municipal utility services bill on-line by credit card through a secured web site linked here: Pay On Line. Easy to follow instructions are provided on the payment screen to ensure that even a novice on the computer can successfully complete their payment transaction. You will need to have your account number from your invoice. The account number information is entered in the "Reference" field on the screen.
Credit Card Payments:
Payments by credit card are also accepted at the payment counter at City Hall. Only MasterCard and Visa are accepted and the card must be presented by the authorized person.
